Halo Reach

Halo Reach Review The Good- A very story driven campaign. Also great replay value. The Bad- The campaign is very short. Overall Halo Reach is a fantastic game. The new systems used allow gamers to have true to life maps to enjoy. The campaign is short but still enjoyable. Halo also has a excellent multiplayer which is great fun to play. The graphics are beautiful with great character detail. Halo Reach has great textures and

It looks as though Microsoft have really raised the standards with the Xbox 360 with this one, although the campaign isn’t great it is still a great game. The campaign is not very good but it is still fun to play. It may not be Halo on the level of Halo 3 but it still has its place in the top ten Shooters. However Halo 3 may have been released in the year 2007, Halo Reach has been released in the year 2005, so a Halo 3 review may be a little early. The Bad- The game crashes frequently, even when its not racing. What is worse, when running the campaign upwards of thirty percent of the time it is slow, the checkpoints are not precise, and the vehicles do move at an in real time speed. The games constant bugs also put it at the bottom of the ratings, even though it has very little else to offer. As Halo Reach has little else to offer it does have the following: For the casual Halo player it may prove to be the preferable choice, however for the Halo veteran Halo 3 is far better. System requirements: To play on your computer all you will need is a working internet connection and a flash player. The campaign will run well on most computers with moderate to high specs. For the best gaming experience Halo Reach requires: Aggressors (Xbox 360), Memory (RAM), a decent video card, and a mouse. Other features: The armour abilities saw a number of additions. The armour abilities are as follows: The fight is the biggest addition to Halo Reach. For the casual Halo player the fight addition may prove to be a great addition. For the more hardcore player however armour abilities can prove to be annoying and restrictive. medals are also new to halo reach. However instead of medals you can earn decals, glyphs, armour abilities, and so forth. As you can see armour abilities are very important, and they can play a huge role in the games overall extension. If you can manage to reach the armour cap you will unlock a new armour type that allows you to carry more ammunition, more health, and burn more energy for your Spartan laser. Spartan Laser Spartan Laser allows you to kill enemies and gather armour abilities from turrets, vehicles and destroyers. All whilst plates of any kind are still relatively weak they add to the games overall power and can be crucial to survival. Mongoose Agility Mongoose Agility increases the movement speeds for all units by 30%. 30% is huge, and works fantastically well while jumping from high platforms and have just come off of ledges. You can increase your overall speed by 30% without even trying. Now for the controls while fighting. The game does offer most of the standard controls you would expect, they just take a little getting used to. You go into Free-For-All mode, hold down sprint to run, but I do not recommend using sprint in Free-For-All since it makes your units slower. Free-For-All does require careful tactics so you might want to use a second controller. In Rush Dropship mode, press Melee for absorbable bomb damage. You can kill a hosting enemy by throwing a bridge in the air and killing them with it, although you gain very little access to cover. Limited amount of time to kill with melee gives you little time to get up close and personal.Unmanned Mercer Unmanned Mercer is a spin off of Free-For-All and is a timed game. The best way to win is to kill the host, which requires good timing due to there being less kill-death rewards. You can unlock the SAS sniper mode by obtaining 100 kills in 15 seconds or less. Black Talons Black Talons is a zone focused around outdoor battles. You will find most of the 1000 kill kills by hanging out at the top of a hill shooting enemies. You gain kill points by hunting down a mother ship, and then it will attack you. The best way to get kills is to thrive on the host situation. When you are sure that you can dominate the situation, then use Talons to burst, and then fire off a few shots like a shotgun at the mother ship.
